With immense pleasure, I welcome you to Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM) Bengaluru. Our institute is basically a premier institute in providing training to the officers of the Cooperative and other Departments of Government of Karnataka and other cooperative institutions of Southern India, was established in the years 1962 by the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) whcih is an Autonomous Society promoted by Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, New Delhi.
We offer Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM both Regular & Correspondance), other Diplomas and conduct Management Development programmes to the various officers of the Government of Karnataka and cooperative institutions throughout Southern India
RICM is set out for its quality output interms of enhancing the knowledge and skill of the participants and recognised by SEBI, C-PEC and other organisations. the departments of cooperation, Government of Karnataka identified RICM as one among the nodal agencies for conducting the Recruitment Examinisation for recruitment in cooperative sector which speak volume about the commitment of RICM, Bengaluru.
Our elegant and state of art infrastructure, good blend of core and visiting faculties enabled us to conduct the Post Graduate Degree in Management of Business Administration since 1999 affiliated to Bangalore University, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Department of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka.
RICM strive to create practical but well-groomed managers and spare no efforts in the process of providing efficient managers to the world of business. Strong network of our institute with the industry provides platform for management students to actively participate at various events, forums to demonstrate their abilities to learn fast and the latest. Our academic-industry interface is stronger as cooperatives and corporates like IFFCO-TOKYO, NAFED, gocoop.com, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and others in the placement of our students.
